Celtic Sundays: The Grateful Dads of Jaffrey

The Grateful Dads of Jaffrey are just that, a small group of dads in Jaffrey, NH who are thankful to play music for friends, family, and the community of the Monadnock region. Although the Grateful Dads of Jaffrey have been known to bring a number of other guests to perform with them, the main group consists of Brian Castiglioni on lead guitar and vocals, Kevin Lennon on rhythm guitar, vocals, and beat box, and Hutch Hutchinson on rhythm guitar, tenor banjo, banjolele, bones, bodhran, and vocals.

Great Groove Theory is a band who has been running Jams all over the Monadnock region for almost twenty years. Starting out at the famous Rynborn Blues Club in the early 2000s running the popular Thursday open mic there. Great Groove Theory called many places home over the years including the E.F. Lane Hotel in Keene and Harlow's pub in Peterborough. The band prides itself in being an inclusive experience for jammers of all skill levels while maintaining a quality listening experience for audience members. Their sound has one foot squarely in the blues, but a blend of funk, rock and jam band is prevalent in the sound overall.

Nate Gibbons joins us for his second headline show at the pub! He brings new material and new openers for a night of New York comedy here in Peterborough. Those new openers are Corey Tindall and Graham Cooper. Doors open at 9pm and the show will start at 9:30pm.

Pub grub will be served until 11pm and the bar will be open until midnight.

Nate Gibbons is an up-and-coming writer and comedian based in New York City.

Whether he is on set of the web series he co-wrote called “Hope Deferred”, or on stage at one of New York City’s top comedy clubs, Nate is always finding a way to talk about his unique upbringing in a small New Hampshire town. With an act consisting of the differences between living in a huge city versus a small country town, relationships with his friends and family, and his unique outlook on ordinary situations, Nate hopes his audience will be able to find relatable content in the hilarious situations he has found himself in.
